Ray Ban - Dealing with a painfully incompetent Service Dept.
I normally don't write reviews but my experience with Ray Ban was abysmal.I ordered a pair of rb5277 glasses on April 18th, but never got an email saying the item has shipped.
Item was supposed to take 3 days to arrive but never did. Two days after this, I called CS asking about order status. I was told that the order would "arrive the next day" and a shipping email would be sent. The item didn't arrive the next day, and no email was sent.
At this point I was quite frustrated, so I contacted the CS dept via website and then was told that the order had been "misdirected" by their computer system. They told me as soon as the order is sent an email would arrive, not bothering to tell me of an ETA. After three business days, package nor email never came, leaving me to send yet ANOTHER email; send the package or I quit payment. Apparently, the payment was cancelled by PayPal the day after I ordered.
So it took THREE people to come to this realization!Conclusion: if u want to argue for weeks on end with an unbelievably incompetent CS dept, and never get your item, this is your place!
