Ray Ban - Defective Ray-Ban Sunglasses
I purchased a pair of Ray-Ban (RB3183) a year and a half ago. In the semi-recent past, I discovered cracks had formed where the temples attach to the lenses.
I contacted customer service about the defects and was informed to describe the problem(s) with pictures and to provide proof of purchase with date of purchase, which I did. Long story short, they denied my warranty claim stating that my sunglasses were not within the 2 year warranty period (clearly they were) and that they found "No Defects in materials or workmanship." The pictures l sent clearly showed the lens cracks and my cancelled check was proof for the date of purchase which was well with the two warranty period. Inside the temples the place of manufacture was clearly depicted, China.
Need I say more. I will suggest you will get a better pair of sunglasses from Walmart than Ray-Ban, a much better value for the money..
