No shipment on order

I was sent a label to return my glasses, and upon dropping them off, my fiancé dropped them off at the United States Postal Service instead of UPS. So, when we went back to get them, we were told UPS had already picked them up.

However, when I searched the tracking label, it showed the package never left that location. Moreover, when UPS tried to locate them, it said the package was never delivered. Can an investigation be done?

I suspect my package was stolen from that post office and I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you.

Preferred solution: I would LOVE to have my glasses please if possible. They're 1 of the best investments I ever made but if not I'll take a refund so that I could repurchase because I LOVE them that much. Thank you

Well, I haven’t heard from them yet and never had to contact them before now! Love their glasses but would like to know if the glasses are guaranteed for life!

Original review Aug 05, 2024

I have had several pairs of Ray Bans and I love them! But my latest pair of Ray Bans that I bought from Sunglass Hut years ago are peeling in lens area.

But arent they lifetime guarantee ? My lens is actually peeling. I keep them inside and use a cover for them at all times, so why? Can I get a replacement?

I am sending a picture of them in an attachment .

I appreciate your response and will send these back to you if that helps me to get a new pair or just repair the lens.

I have had several pair of Ray Bans and you dont want to lose a loyal customer, do you?

Yours truly,

Ms. Rene Bowling

Ripped off

Ray Ban - Ripped off

Tried 3 different models and all the same. Easily scratched lenses, screws falling out, frames that bend and distort easily.

$175.00 garbage.

Dont waste your time and money and go buy PUGS at the gas stations. They are better quality than any Rayban product.

I ordered the Ray Ban Metas back on Dec 14th 2023. I never received my order ups did not put my correct Apt number.

I informed Ray Ban that order was never received on Dec 20th 2023. They do an investigation and tell me they can not issue a refund because on ups tracking it states delivered and to open a claim with UPS. So I open a claim with UPS they take full responsibility for loosing the package. I send those documents to Ray Ban customer Service team I call them to make sure documents were received.

Ray Ban still states theres nothing they can do since the investigation on their end is final I ask them if they contacted UPS to see if the package was actually delivered to to me they state they cant disclose that information. I call Ups again they inform me they are issuing a refund I paid 316$ for these glasses and Ups is only issued a refund for 108$ to stay Ban on Feb 5th 2024 for them to refund me that money.

I call them today Feb 23, 2024 and they tell me they have no information on that when I tell them I have the documents and I can send it to them they tell me that there investigation is final and they can not issue me a refund. I have called multiple times I have informed UPS that Ray Ban is refusing to give me a refund and its not even the full amount of what I paid I do not know where to go from here

One of my lens fell out while I was wearing them.

Ray Ban - One of my lens fell out while I was wearing them.

I was at Napa valley winery while wearing my glasses one of the Lens feel out. I was embarrassed picked up the broken glass, but enjoyed my day.

When I get back home to Texas I called and was told the can not repair or replace my glasses but give me 30 percent of new one.

I know that's high way robery. I spent all most $300.00 for the glasses.

Walking billboard for company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review Jun 16, 2024

Almost no other company has their name on the outside of their frames - especially non-sunglass frames. It's also in bold relief, sticking out in full.

Versace, an intentionally vulgar, luxury, and high-prestige company, is perhaps alone in having their name fully on the outside. Not even they have it in bold relief sticking out noticeably on both sides. Very occasionally, a graphic logo is visible. A major store downtown in a major city had a veteran salesperson telling me many customers hate it.

How could they not? Who wants to be a double-sided billboard that one pays (a lot) to advertise on? Is Ray-Ban somehow the same as Versace? In what way would that be?

Their customer service is set up to take no complaints whatsoever. Not on the phone and their site email has a very restricted amount of characters one is allowed to write. Their arrogance and contempt for the customer are proclaimed to be a feature and not a bug. How do you feel about that?

Ray-Ban loudly interprets your reaction to mean you like it and want to be abused on an ongoing basis. No surprise that you're getting your wish.

Abusers whose business model is being aggressively contemptuous of customers in this way love a compliant masochist and Ray-Ban apparently has many. At least they've convinced themselves and/or rationalized that their profits are greater by acting this way. In my many years of sales & mkting experience, I've inevitably this kind of corporate behavior has almost always no persuasive data to back it up.

Much like the TV station logos many/most channels force you to endure while watching films. They do it because they can & never test if it alienates more than it increases goodwill & all resulting viewership. Institutionalized contempt is always pernicious. Far more so when it hurts the co.

doing it as much as their customers. That they can't help themselves makes it all the sadder. Denial & suppression is as common as it is self-destructive.

In groups perhaps especially corporate ones, it becomes a kind of cancer affecting all.

I was emailed concerning what I thought of Oakley glasses. They do not insist on exterior advertising on both sides & their cs could not possibly be worse than RB's refusal to have anybody available to give feedback to.

Communication for head office

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Jun 16, 2024

I have a video interview with POC on the 24th. I was bothered by the unprecedented nature of their advertising their full name on both sides (in raised letters no less) of the exteriors of their sunglasses - AND charging a premium for the privilege of being their twin billboard.

It ruined some excellent designs they had, on of which was modern, verging on avante-garde., This aggressive advertising on both sides makes the wearer appear far more vulgar & neurotic while doing so. Someone senior in marketing has clear contempt for the customer to orchestrate this thus. The color options are also as bland as their advertising is dramatic.

Admitting they're wrong in this way was always a long shot but I tried. Did no expect to be introduced to POC in the process.

Original review Jun 12, 2024
I apologize for sending this to you, but there is no email address for Ray Ban and the one on their site discourages all messages by not allowing any but a smallish paragraph to be sent. The phone number provided to the public discourages feedback even more so, and customer service people aren't encouraged to take feedback. Please refer this to the senior decision makers as highly and widely as possible (without one at the expense of the other). I'm in Canada, but the same issues apply elsewhere. I was looking at a mostly well-designed, bold frame design, RB8901. Two issues: the first is that even though the frame promises a bold, fresh, modern look, it only accomplishes this in three colors—all very subtle. You need more and bolder color in what is one of your bolder designs. Secondly, you are the only frame maker that insists on putting your advertising on the outside—on both sides—as well as in very bold, raised relief. Versace can get away with that because a vulgar, luxe, flashy look is their brand. Even Armani and those adjacent do not go near making their customers look like walking billboards, a sentiment held not just by me and all I know, and they know. The 30-year veteran at Lenscrafters in the Eaton Centre I spoke to, told me many customers expressed the same sentiment. You are not remotely a big ego brand like Versace who can (for some) get away with this—at the price you're charging far, FAR more so. Still, that would be a good part of the reason why the one frame in this series that's 50% off is sold out. Contempt for the customer is thus viscerally conveyed and felt by your branding the exterior in this way. Perhaps more so in Canada but really, felt everywhere. You also need to simulate a public visage where you look like you can convincingly simulate you care what customers think, and have customer service people who are easily available and can convey a modicum of emotional intelligence. Also, email that invites people to use it without severe restrictions on what's sent. I have decades of experience in sales and marketing, so none of this is said remotely lightly.

Sincerely,
John Penturn

Preferred solution: color variation - but most of all no exterior advertising, let alone in full & raised lettering. This is affecting your sales & not by a little.

Poor customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a pair of Ray Ban Meta glasses over a month ago. I have contacted customer service many times only to be told what their policy is.

On the 6th of August it showed the package sitting in a factory in China. They told me to contact them on the 8th if there is no movement. I contacted them on the 8th only to be told to wait till the 16th and being reminded of their policy. The tracking now says Delayed I'm pretty sure the package is lost.

I have contacted them yesterday with no reply and today with no reply. We are talking about a $700 pair of glasses.

Their customer service is so bad and arrogant. Avoid buying from this crap company.
